Fathima binti Asad, istri Abu Thalib, dalam keadaan hamil tua datang ke Ka’bah untuk berdoa. Dia memohon agar dapat melahirkan bayinya dengan selamat.

Ketika dia sedang asyik berdoa dekat pintu Ka’bah, tiba-tiba dia terkejut melihat dinding Ka’bah retak dan terbuka lebar. Dinding itu terus terbuka dan semakin melebar sehingga Fathimah binti Asad pun tergerak memasuki Ka’bah melalui celah tersebut. Setelah dia berada di dalam Ka’bah, celah itu pun secara ajaib tertutup kembali sehingga kembali normal seperti semula dan Fathimah tertinggal di dalam Ka’bah.

Sebagian orang yang melihat kejadian tersebut segera menceritakan kepada orang lain apa yang dilihatnya. Orang-orang berdatangan setelah mendengar cerita mereka yang menyaksikan kejadian ajaib tersebut dan ingin melihat keajaiban tersebut. Mereka membawa kunci pintu Ka’bah dan berusaha membukanya. Anehnya lagi, pintu Ka’bah tidak jua dapat dibuka.

Nabi Muhammad Saw yang baru pulang dari sebuah perjalanan, melewati tempat kejadian, di mana banyak orang berkerumun di sekitar Ka’bah. Nabi Saw turun dari untanya dan menghampiri kerumunan orang. Beliau melihat beberapa orang berusaha membuka pintu Ka’bah tapi mengalami kegagalan. Nabi Saw meminta kunci tersebut dan mencoba membukanya. Dengan izin Allah, pintu pun dapat terbuka. Fathimah yang berada di dalam segera keluar dan membawa bayinya yang mungil yang baru saja dilahirkan.

Fathimah binti Asad menyodorkan bayinya ke Nabi, dan Nabi menggendong bayi kecil tersebut. Ketika berada di dalam gendongannya, sang bayi membuka matanya. Matanya yang jernih dan berkilat-kilat itu menatap wajah sang Nabi. Wajah Nabi Saw-lah yang pertama kali dilihatnya ketika pertama-tama dia membuka matanya. Dan bayi inilah yang kelak senantiasa membela Nabi Saw. Ibu sang bayi, Fathimah binti Asad, menamai bayinya Haydar (Singa), sementara Nabi Saw menamai bayi tersebut dengan nama ‘Ali (salah satu dari Asma al-Husna: Yang Maha Tinggi) 1]. Imam Ali bin Abi Thalib adalah satu-satunya orang yang pernah lahir di dalam Ka’bah. Di dalam syair-syairnya, Imam Ali sering menyebut dirinya dengan sebutan putra Ka’bah!
Laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa billah.

Catatan Kaki :
 1. Nama ‘Ali yang diberikan Rasulullah Saw ini merupakan fakta sejarah yang meruntuhkan hadis yang sering digunakan kaum Wahabi untuk mewajibkan seseorang menggunakan kata “’Abd” untuk digandengkan dengan nama-nama Allah, seperti Rahman menjadi Abdur Rahman. Jika benar hadis Wahabi itu maka sudah pastilah Nabi akan menggandengkan kata ‘Ali dengan Abdul-‘Ali, tetapi sampai Rasulullah Saw wafat, tidak kita jumpai satu riwayat pun bahwa beliau mengubah nama ‘Ali menjadi Abdul ‘Ali. Dari fakta sejarah ini, kita mendapat pelajaran agar selalu meneliti berbagai hadis yang kita terima, terutama dari kaum Wahabi. Sudah sedemikian banyak bukti kebodohan dan kecerobohan kaum Wahabi di dalam hal ini.

Fatima bint Asad, the wife of Abu Talib, in a state of pregnancy came to the Kaaba to pray. She begged to have her baby safely.

When he was busy praying near the Kaaba door, suddenly he was surprised to see the Kaaba walls cracked and open. The wall was kept open and widened so that Fatima bint Asad was moved into the Kaaba through the openings. Once he was inside the Kaaba, that gap was closed again so miraculously returned to normal as before and Fatima left inside the Kaaba.

Some people who saw the incident immediately to tell others what he saw. People arriving after hearing their story who witnessed the miraculous event and want to see these wonders. They brought the Kaaba door lock and tried to open it. Surprisingly again, the door of the Kaaba is not likewise be opened.

Prophet Muhammad who had just returned from a trip, past the scene, where many people gathered around the Kaaba. Holy Prophet came down from his camel and went to the crowd. He saw some people trying to open the door of the Kaaba but fails. The Prophet asked for the key and tried to open it. With the permission of Allah, the door can open. Fatima inside get out and carry a tiny baby who had just been born.

Fatima bint Asad thrusting her baby to the Prophet, and the Prophet wearing a small baby. When in the arms, the baby opened his eyes. Her eyes are clear and shiny it looked at the Prophet's face. Face of the Holy Prophet was the first time he saw when he first opened his eyes. And this baby will always defend the Prophet. The baby's mother, Fatima bint Asad, naming her baby Haydar (Lion), while the Prophet's name the baby with the name 'Ali (one of the Asma al-Husna: The Most High) 1]. Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib was the only person ever born in the Kaaba. In the poem-poem, often calls itself the Imam Ali as the son of the Kaaba!
